Greetings all - let's chat!
I just thought I'd take a moment to say "hi" to everyone and, hopefully, get a little general discussion going. It seems like there are a number of folks like myself who presently have rather limited opportunities to meet face to face with others with similar spiritual and philosophical interests. Well, this form is HERE and ready to use, so why not make good use of it to share ideas?
At present, I'm renewing work on my tarot deck design (more like starting over really) after far too long of a break. Things are actually going pretty well for the moment. The trick is not to let enthusiasm run wild to the point of "burn out".
So, if there's anyone out there who would like to talk about deck design or anything interesting going on in your own creative/spiritual/philosophical life, I'd be more than happy to hear from you.

That's a good idea. Let's try out the new chatroom! I'm am all for doing a regular chat on a monthly or even weekly basis if there's interest. We used to have occasional chats but they fizzled out. Let's start them up again. Would you like to start with say Monday the 6th at 8pm? We can make the Tarot our first conversation topic. Future conversation topic ideas more than welcome!

That's sounds like a great idea to me. As far as I know, that time should work out just fine. I'm still hopeful that this form will become a more active medium for the exchange of ideas though. Live chat has its place in the scheme of things, but there are a number of topics I'd prefer to discuss in the forum setting in order to be able to craft more thoughtful responses.

Since mine was the only reply, I wasn't terribly shocked when no one else showed up for the "scheduled" chat. I'll check back on this thread periodically. If anyone shows interest in setting up a regular chat session, I'll be glad to help support it.

I don't schedule a chat without someone to host it, so you'll always have at least one other person there if you show up during the allotted time.
