his event will be an open evening of fun and fellowship with friends and family of the nontraditional pagan heritage and belief.
A private wiccan style ritual will begin at 6:00 p.m. for the Council members, to be followed by opening the Space for the Public at 7:00 p.m.
(Set up is at 5:00 PM)
Cakes and ale will be set out at 7:00 pm and a light repast shall be included with the admission - set at $5.00.
Pot Luck items are welcome as dishes to pass...however, they must be labled if they contain animal products, nuts, dairy, or red fruit.
Children are welcome, as are non pagans.
The Dance itself is an open floor event, where in all levels of experience and gender are allowed to participate. This is not a show, it is a communal bonding experience.
We ask all guests to be respectful of the b.y.o.b. policy in moderation.
Closing ritual will start promptly at 10:00 pm.
We will be collecting for Earth's Children, the new name for Pagans in Need.
There will be tarot readings for charity.
There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle; bake sale; and cider pong.
There will be a children's play area.
Please bring a blanket for the little ones to nap on and we will bless their stuffed animals for them in a mini-ritual.
Special to this event is the Good Witch Befana's Corner, where children write out their lists for Yule and place them in the Solstice Stocking.
Also, there is the Winter Father's Cauldron, where they can pull out a lot that will give them a Boon for the year.
Women, look into the Snow Goddess' Mirror Bowl to try to glimpse your future.
Men, make your mark on the Solstice Staff to seal your resolution for the year.
See you there.
